This allows read access to NTFS data deduplicated under Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
FREIBURG, Germany – October 25, 2021
NTFS deduplication conserves storage by eliminating the need to store excess copies of data that significantly reduce your free storage capacity, such as with a database where you can run a single instance.
Over the last few years, Paragon was continuously asked by its commercial customers to add support for NTFS deduplication on Linux and other operating systems.
NTFS Deduplication support is initially available for Microsoft NTFS for Linux as an additional module to Microsoft NTFS for Linux by Paragon Software. Support for other operating systems is underway and is available on request.
Paragon File System Link is a set of cross-platform file system drivers that bear a hallmark of outstanding quality and ensure data safety, stable operation, excellent performance, minimal resource footprint, and consistent user experience.
Paragon introduced its first NTFS implementation for DOS in 2000. Since then, Paragon has continued to refine its NTFS implementation for various file systems, addressing the needs of its commercial customers - from embedded OEM/Automotive and autonomous industrial systems to high performance Linux Servers. Support for NTFS deduplication is yet another milestone in over two decades of Paragon file system experience of delivering top-tier file system drivers.
